Alloy C-2000 Plate Sheet

HASTELLOY C-2000 alloy (UNS N06200) is unique among the versatile nickel-chromium-molybdenum materials in having a deliberate copper addition. Hastelloy C2000 Rolling Plate provides greatly enhanced resistance to sulfuric acid. ASTM B575 UNS N06200 Plate also has a high chromium content, to maximize its resistance to oxidizing chemicals and process streams contaminated with ferric ions and dissolved oxygen.

Hastelloy C2000 Sheet is available in thicknesses ranging from .016 to .156". Large size ASME SB575 Hastelloy C2000 Plate will also diminish the size of the undesirable heat-affected zone caused by welding. We also stock & supply extra large-size Hastelloy C2000 Sheets, thin and ultra-thin gauge Hastelloy Alloy C2000 strip and foil products, rolled down to 2 microns.

Like other nickel alloys, Hastelloy C2000 Rolling Plate is ductile, easy to form and weld, and possesses exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing solutions (a form of degradation to which the austenitic stainless steels are prone). is able to withstand a wide range of oxidizing and non-oxidizing chemicals, and exhibits outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice attack in the presence of chlorides and other halides.
